RMA Parts Inspector (Temporary)

Pay: $20-$21/hour

Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented RMA Parts Inspector to perform inspections of returned exhaust system components. This temporary role is responsible for evaluating product condition, identifying defects, and ensuring accurate inventory adjustments. Ideal candidates are hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working with heavy components.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect returned exhaust system parts under RMA (Return Material Authorization).
• Evaluate weld quality, identifying cracks, incomplete welds, and structural issues.
• Inspect pipes, catalyzers, hangers, bushings, and related components.
• Verify catalyzer placement, condition, and any signs of damage or malfunction.
• Accurately document defects and inspection findings.
• Identify and summarize key issues affecting each returned unit.
• Process inventory adjustments in the IFS system based on inspection results.
• Maintain organized and accurate inspection records.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle components weighing 20+ lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
• Basic proficiency with Excel or similar data-entry tools.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots).
